Happy St Patrick’s Day

In honour of St Patrick’s day, and the fact that we are supposed to wear green at work tomorrow, I have made a couple of crocheted accessories.  A 4 leaf clover bracelet and a three leaf clover applique, which I will wear as a brooch.   Not quite the right shade of green for the bracelet, but it’ll be a nice contrast against the green top I will be wearing.

The pattern for the clover is very simple:

Ch5 and ss into top of first chain to make a ring.

Ch3, 1 tr, 2 tr tr, 1 tr, chain 3 and ss into ring (repeat 2 times).

Ch7, dc into 3 ch from hook, hdc in next, sc into next 3 and ss into ring and tie off.

Sew in ends.

I have added a safety pin to the reverse and can now use this a brooch.
