Gumboots, Galoshes & Wellington Boots

A rainboot by any other name!  Also known as billie-boots, gummies, wellie-boots and poop pickers!

Originally worn and popularised by Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington. This unique  “Wellington” boot became the essential boot for hunting and outdoor wear for the British aristocracy in the early 19th century.

I fell in love with and simply had to make these gorgeous boots from The Lovely Crow.  It seems my friends love them too.
