Pottering Around the House

We’re just heading into Spring here in the Southern Hemisphere and our garden is in desperate need of a little TLC.  In between the rain showers of the past few weeks, I managed to get out and weed some of the veggie boxes, not so as you’d know to look at them now!

The lawns need mowing too but we’ve been waiting for a dry day to do them. Unfortunately it was dry at the weekend but as it was our eldest son, Joe’s 16th birthday we had far more important things to spend our time on!

We do have a few flowers and shrubs in bloom and the succulents are doing really well.

I’ve taken advantage of the cold, wet and windy day to crochet these gorgeous Mary Jane style booties.  Another pattern that I made up as I went along.  I probably should make another pair to make sure I wrote the pattern down correctly.
